Lori Shakour, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Schweiger Dermatology Group in Freehold and Howell, New Jersey.

Lori holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Rutgers University School of Nursing, where she received an academic excellence award upon graduation in 2022. Lori completed four years of NP school, which consisted of both didactic and clinical education. While completing her doctorate degree, she spent time shadowing at Schweiger Dermatology Group to gain dermatologic experience.

Prior to this, she completed the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at The College of New Jersey in 2014. Lori spent the majority of her nursing career as a Pediatric Oncology, Hematology, and BMT nurse at prestigious organizations such as New York Presbyterian and Hackensack University Medical Center.

About Schweiger Dermatology Group

Schweiger Dermatology Group was founded to help make excellent dermatology care accessible throughout the Northeast. In 2010, Dr. Eric Schweiger started the practice with a single location in Midtown Manhattan. When he saw the need for high-quality dermatology care that did not require weeks or months of waiting to see a qualified provider, his vision of a multi-location practice was born.
