About Michelle Longmire, MD
Dr. Longmire is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology with a patient-centered approach rooted in scientific rigor and innovation. Dr. Longmire offers comprehensive dermatologic care, including skin cancer prevention and treatment, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, mole evaluations and cosmetic treatments such as Botox, Dysport, Restylane and Juvederm. She maintains a modern cosmetic practice aligned with current beauty trends.
Prior to joining Schweiger Dermatology Group, Dr. Longmire served as an attending physician at Stanford University, where she worked as a physician-scientist in the Department of Epithelial Biology, focusing on autoimmune skin diseases. She has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles and is recognized as a leader in applying technology to healthcare and life sciences.
Dr. Longmire earned her undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico, where she graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She remained at UNM for medical school, followed by an internship in internal medicine. She completed her dermatology residency at Stanford University.
While at UNM, Dr. Longmire was a four-year member and team captain of the women’s soccer team. She continued her passion for athletics and public health as a volunteer with SUNSPORT, a Stanford-based skin cancer education and prevention program for outdoor athletes.
