About Pamela J Basuk, MD
Dr. Basuk is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She has decades of experience treating patients of all ages, providing expert care for a broad range of skin conditions. Dr. Basuk specializes in skin cancer detection, and general and cosmetic dermatology. Her patient-centered approach ensures individualized care for optimal skin health.
Dr. Basuk graduated Phi Beta Kappa from SUNY Binghamton and earned her medical degree from NYU Medical School. She completed an internal medicine internship at the Bronx Municipal Health System and a dermatology residency at Brown University. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Basuk has been recognized as one of America’s Top Doctors by Castle Connolly since 1995, an honor awarded based on peer recommendations and in-depth evaluations. She has also been featured in The New York Times and Newsday. She is affiliated with South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, part of the Northwell Health.
She is an active member and past President of both the Suffolk Dermatology Society and the Long Island Dermatological Society. Dr Basuk enjoys treating patients of all ages, helping with issues across the entire spectrum of skin disease.
