Originally from St. Louis, Mo., and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, she completed a six-year Bachelor of Arts/Doctor of Medicine program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and her dermatology residency at St. Louis University. She also completed a fellowship at Duke University, researching topical vitamin C with Dr. Sheldon Pinnell, founder of SkinCeuticals.

In 2023, she was named one of Nashville’s Top Doctors.

In her free time, Dr. Shah enjoys family time, traveling, hiking, exploring new foods and restaurants, enjoying good coffee, reading and watching movies.
