About Patricia Rexer, FNP-BC
Patricia Rexer is a certified family nurse practitioner at Schweiger Dermatology & Allergy.
She is a Philadelphia native who brings more than 38 years of healthcare experience to her role. Patricia specializes in allergy, asthma and internal medicine and is experienced in providing care to patients of all ages. She has a strong background in community health, critical care and telemedicine and is passionate about delivering high-quality care to diverse and underserved populations.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Patricia spent two decades as a nursing professor at St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing, Community College of Philadelphia and Drexel University. She remains committed to patient education and collaboration, believing that personalized, evidence-based care leads to the best possible outcomes.
Patricia received her diploma in nursing from Chestnut Hill Hospital School of Nursing, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kutztown University and her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Villanova University. She went on to complete her post-master’s certificate as a family nurse practitioner at Widener University. Her academic achievements have been recognized with multiple honors and scholarships, including the Starr Award for graduating first in her class and an NEF scholarship for academic excellence at Villanova.
Outside of work, Patricia enjoys kayaking, biking, jogging, music, cooking and spending time with her energetic German Shepherd Dog.
