About Patrick R. Dahl, MD, FAAD
Dr. Patrick R. Dahl is a triple board-certified dermatologist with expertise in dermatology, dermatopathology, and Mohs micrographic surgery. He brings extensive academic training and experience in both clinical and diagnostic dermatology, with a focus on skin cancer and complex skin disease.
A native of Southern California, Dr. Dahl earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego, graduating summa cum laude as the top graduate. He went on to receive his medical degree from Stanford University, where he graduated with honors and participated in dermatology research.
Dr. Dahl completed an internship in internal medicine at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital before pursuing his dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He further specialized by completing a fellowship in dermatopathology at the Mayo Clinic, gaining advanced expertise in the microscopic diagnosis of skin disease.
In clinical practice, Dr. Dahl specializes in medical dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery, and dermatopathology. He is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer as well as a wide range of dermatologic conditions. He has authored multiple publications in the medical literature and has lectured at national and international conferences. He is known for his thorough, detail-oriented approach and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Dr. Dahl has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for multiple years and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
