About Raj Tuppal, MD, FAAD, FACP, DABD
Dr. Tuppal is a board-certified dermatologist and internist at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
He brings over 20 years of experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Tuppal specializes in complex medical dermatology, autoimmune skin diseases—including vitiligo, alopecia areata and lupus—and disorders of pigmentation. His clinical expertise includes the management of premalignant and malignant skin lesions, as well as cosmetic treatments such as radiofrequency microneedling and skin rejuvenation.
Dr. Tuppal earned his medical degree from Memorial University and completed his dermatology residency at Dalhousie University. He is board-certified in both dermatology and internal medicine and has served as a principal investigator in numerous clinical trials, helping to advance therapies for psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and other chronic skin conditions.
Consistently recognized in the “Three Best Rated Dermatologists” category, Dr. Tuppal is known for his commitment to clinical excellence, compassionate care and innovative treatment approaches.
