About Tangneka Nguyen, PA-C
Tangneka is a certified physician assistant at Schweiger Dermatology Group in Elmira, New York.
She specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, and is dedicated to delivering efficient, empathetic and patient-centered care. Tangneka provides comprehensive skin care with a focus on education, prevention and personalized treatment planning.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Developmental Biology from The Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her training included two years of intensive didactic and clinical education across multiple medical specialties, including a dermatology rotation and additional shadowing with dermatology providers.
Tangneka completed Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship, a rigorous academic and clinical program that provided hands-on training in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She also earned certification in cosmetic injectables, including Botox and dermal fillers, through Aesthetic Medical Educators Training (AMET).
Her personal experiences with skincare challenges inspired her passion for dermatology, and she enjoys building strong, authentic connections with her patients. Tangneka is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
