Isolaz Laser Treatments

What is Isolaz®?

Beyond simply getting rid of acne scars, patients are often interested in dealing with active acne lesions and outbreaks. With the FDA approved Isolaz® treatment, patients are presented with a painless, in-office procedure that helps to greatly reduce the appearance of acne on the face as well as the back and chest. In a recent clinical study, 82% of patients were very pleased with the results of Isolaz, as the presence of acne lesions drastically decreased. With Isolaz, you can feel better about your skin!

What Can I Expect of My Isolaz® Treatment?

Using both a gentle suction that initially cleans the pores and a light that simultaneously kills the acne-causing bacteria, Isolaz® has been shown to help to improve acne within just a few weeks. The process is absolutely painless and as the suction cleanses pores, it helps from a preventive perspective as well. Patients see results in as soon as 24-48 hours. The treatment area appears smoother, refreshed and rejuvenated.

Are There Any Side Effects from Isolaz®?

Generally right after, you may experience some redness, this disappears very quickly however. There is zero downtime and you can go about your daily activities immediately following treatment.

How many Isolaz® treatments are needed?

We recommend four to six treatments of Isolaz® in order to achieve optimal results. Very often this treatment will work for those acne patients who have not been successful with other types of therapies. Our success rate with Isolaz® is just over 75 percent, and 100 percent of patients said that it was a completely pain free procedure.

About Schweiger Dermatology Group

Schweiger Dermatology Group was founded to help make excellent dermatology care accessible throughout the Northeast. In 2010, Dr. Eric Schweiger started the practice with a single location in Midtown Manhattan. When he saw the need for high-quality dermatology care that did not require weeks or months of waiting to see a qualified provider, his vision of a multi-location practice was born.
