Her interest in dermatology stems from own experiences as a dermatology patient and her desire to provide patient-centered and accessible care to her local community. She started her dermatology practice through Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advance Practice Provider Fellowship. Laura treats both adults and children above the age of 13.

She received her Master of Science in nursing as an adult and geriatric nurse practitioner, from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minn. Prior to obtaining her adult and geriatric nurse practitioner degree, Laura spent a decade working as a neurosurgical ICU, medical, surgical, dermatology and postoperative nurse.

She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Creighton University. Before entering the medical field, Laura received a Bachelor of Arts in history from Colorado College.
