About Mark Naylor, MD, FAAD
Dr. Mark Naylor is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in general dermatology, with a special interest in melanoma and skin cancer care.
He brings decades of experience in medical, surgical, and academic dermatology to his clinical practice.
Originally from west Texas, Dr. Naylor earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He completed residencies in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology and is double board certified in both specialties. Following his residency training, he pursued additional scientific training in tumor biology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center Research Division.
Dr. Naylor served as a faculty member in the Departments of Dermatology at both Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. After many years in medical and surgical dermatology, he obtained certification in Mohs micrographic surgery through the American Board of Dermatology.
In clinical practice, Dr. Naylor treats a broad range of dermatologic conditions, with a focus on melanoma, skin cancer detection, and surgical treatment. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to patient care, resident education, and dermatologic research.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Naylor enjoys cycling, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Carla, and daughter, Madison.
