About Merin Reji, MD
Dr. Reji is a board-certified physician specializing in allergy and immunology at Schweiger Dermatology & Allergy.
She provides compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals of all ages, offering expertise across the full spectrum of allergy and immunology. Her clinical focus includes the diagnosis and treatment of environmental allergies, food and drug allergies, eczema, hives, allergic contact dermatitis and common variable immunodeficiency.
Dr. Reji graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree before earning her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Central Florida, where she received the Academic Excellence Award and participated in research aimed at enhancing medical education. She completed her internal medicine residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and went on to complete her fellowship in allergy and immunology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
She has published in peer-reviewed journals such as BMJ Case Reports and the Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, covering topics including dupilumab-induced ocular surface disease and specific antibody deficiency. She has also presented her research at national allergy conferences.
Dr. Reji is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the Long Island Allergy and Asthma Society.
