Ornella Papadias Feria, MD, FAAP, FACAAI

Dr. Papadias Feria earned her medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela School of Medicine in Caracas, Venezuela. She completed her pediatric residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in New Jersey, where she received the Resident Teacher Award in recognition of her commitment to medical education and mentorship. She subsequently completed fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children and Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University.

In clinical practice, Dr. Papadias Feria specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of environmental allergies, food allergies, asthma, eczema, hives, allergic rhinitis, drug allergies, and immune system disorders. She provides care for both pediatric and adult patients and is committed to helping individuals and families better understand and manage their conditions to improve overall quality of life. She has a special interest in eczema, chronic hives, contact dermatitis, and other allergic skin conditions affecting both children and adults

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Papadias Feria has an extensive background in research and academic medicine. She has contributed to studies in pediatric critical care, lung transplantation outcomes, dysautonomia, and nitric oxide levels in children through her work at Texas Children’s Hospital and The University of Texas Health Science Center. During her fellowship, she led educational and quality improvement initiatives focused on early introduction of allergenic foods, penicillin allergy evaluation, and epinephrine auto-injector education for Spanish-speaking families.

Dr. Papadias Feria has presented research and clinical cases at national and international meetings, including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, the American Thoracic Society, and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Papadias Feria is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach and dedication to delivering high-quality allergy and immunology care.
