Perel Politzer, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant specializing in both medical and cosmetic dermatology at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
Her journey into dermatology was motivated by a deep personal connection when a family member struggled with severe eczema. Determined to make a difference, Perel earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Touro College and continued on to obtain her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Pace University.
Throughout her education, Perel completed medical rotations in various specialties, solidifying her foundation in healthcare. Her commitment to excellence led her to complete the Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship program at Schweiger Dermatology Group. This comprehensive program, featuring clinical training supervised by seasoned dermatologists and academic instruction, played a pivotal role in honing her skills to address a wide spectrum of dermatological concerns.
Perel is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
