Sofwave Treatment for Skin Tightening

Introducing Sofwave: The New Non-Invasive Skin Tightening Treatment

Are you looking for a way to make your skin tighter? The new Sofwave treatment may be the answer. The Sofwave technology is a next-generation aesthetic treatment—it’s non-invasive, offers zero downtime and shows a marked improvement on fine lines, skin laxity and wrinkles. It is one of several advanced options featured among the best cosmetic treatments for the face.

How does Sofwave work?

Sofwave delivers Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam Technology (SUPERB™ technology) to boost collagen and elastin under the skin’s surface. Collagen and elastin are two of the main structural proteins found in skin that are responsible for its supple and youthful properties. The ultrasound energy in the Sofwave treatment bypasses the skin’s upper layers and directly targets the dermis, where it stimulates the skin’s natural collagen and elastin supply. Treatments like Sofwave are also commonly included among the most effective skin tightening treatments for the face and body.

Is Sofwave right for you?

The ideal Sofwave patients have mild to advanced skin laxity. While those with mild to moderate skin laxity will see the most improvement, those with more advanced skin laxity will also appreciate the results. Sofwave is an effective treatment for anyone who wants to avoid or delay surgery. Patients considering Sofwave may also be interested in exploring non-surgical facelift options for tightening loose skin and improving facial contours.

How many Sofwave treatments are needed?

We typically recommend one or two treatments spaced one month apart, depending on the amount of laxity. Sofwave treatment time for a full-face and neck treatment is 30 to 45 minutes.

Does Sofwave hurt?

The Sofwave machine has an internal cooling device that makes the treatment much more comfortable than older ultrasound-based devices. Additionally, we offer a topical numbing cream before the treatment to help tolerate any pain.

Is there any downtime with Sofwave?

There is no downtime after a Sofwave treatment. You can resume normal activities immediately after your treatment. Because of its convenience, Sofwave is also a popular option for patients looking for quick cosmetic procedures with little to no downtime.

Can fillers and/or neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) be combined with Sofwave?

Yes, patients can receive a combination of injectables to complement a Sofwave treatment and help them achieve their aesthetic goals. Sofwave is often paired with wrinkle treatments and other collagen-stimulating procedures as part of a broader prejuvenation strategy.
