About Alexandra Bardales, PA-C
Fatima (Alexandra) is a certified physician assistant at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Alexandra graduated summa cum laude from Stockton University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She then attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
While at PCOM, she completed a rigorous training, consisting of both didactic and clinical education. She completed eight preceptorships, one of them being in dermatology.
After graduating, Alexandra worked as a hospitalist at Virtua Hospital and Cooper University Hospital, giving her an extensive and broad medical knowledge base.
She always knew she wanted a career in dermatology. Her interest and passion stemmed from being a patient at Schweiger Dermatology Group herself as a teenager. Being a dermatology medical provider at Schweiger and providing the same care she once received as a patient is a full-circle moment for Alexandra and one that she is grateful for.
Alexandra began her dermatology training by completing Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Training Program, which combines thorough academic and clinical training by top dermatologists. This allowed her to gain firsthand experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
She was born in Peru and moved to the United States at the age of five. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
Besides her passion for skincare, she enjoys HIIT workouts and Pilates, Taylor Swift music, supporting animal rights and being a vegan.
Alexandra is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants.
