Born in New York and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Torres moved to New Orleans to complete his undergraduate studies at Tulane University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Torres earned his Medical Degree from the University of Puerto Rico. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine and his Residency in Dermatology at the University of Puerto Rico, where he served as a Chief Resident.

After dermatology residency, Dr. Torres joined his father’s dermatology practice in Puerto Rico where he practiced alongside his sister. In August of 1996, Dr. Torres joined his good friend, Dr. Kevin Chun, at Lake Dermatology and has practiced there for almost 30 years.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family. His hobbies include fishing, playing golf and watching sports.
